Rosario García is an important and successful real estate executive who will unexpectedly have to take care of Ema, the daughter of a friend, who has just been orphaned. While an adoption agency is looking for a new family for her, Ema will have to learn to live with an inexperienced mother who also has another important challenge in her life: love. Rosario is attracted to her enemy, the doctor and environmentalist Gastón Rodríguez, and suddenly Sergio, Ema's father, appears to have a hidden interest in Rosario. Eventually Rosario and Ema will form a strong bond, but ghosts from the past will come between them, putting this relationship at risk.
