Lorraine, a scholarship student, belongs to the basketball team’s cheerleader group, “The Butterflies”, at the most exclusive college school in town. Her mom’s business is on the verge of bankruptcy and she needs to make money to help her. Katia, the head of the cheerleaders and best friend, offers to get her and other two cheerleaders a job making webcam private content. Lorraine agrees and together they become a trending topic.

Suddenly, Katia disappears and is found dead days later. The authorities assure the killer is Katia’s boyfriend’s dad and owner of the webcam porno business, except that he is innocent.

There is a new victim non-related to him. As they go through Katia’s and the rest of The Butterflies’ smartphone messages, it seems the killer can be a young INCEL. INCELs are men who accuse women like Katia of provoking them just to condemn them, with their disdain, to remain virgins. The INCEL groups manage social media the same way that The Butterflies promote their porn material. The killer has now laid eyes on Lorraine and unless she and the police manage to figure things out on time, she might be dead soon.
