Papi Ricky tells the story of Ricardo and Alicia, an inseparable couple. The life of this father and his 8-year-old daughter is not like any other, time has been responsible for forging a unique relationship where the complicity between them is the result of a very special story. Ricardo is a single father, athlete and rugby coach, who has raised only his daughter Alicia, a mischievous girl who did not know her mother and who, thanks to the special nature of his relationship with Ricky, has not felt her absence. Their lives have passed from place to place, they are world travelers. Everything changes the day Ricardo decides to return to Chile for a while, accepting a strange job offer. They come to live in what seems to be an ideal and safe place for them, without imagining that someone has manipulated and arranged their destiny.
